Refund Policy — Rapid Rescue
At Rapid Rescue, we try to keep bookings and payments simple and fair. If a refund is needed, this policy explains when it applies and how it is handled.
1. Cancellation of Services
You can cancel a booking before the ambulance reaches the pickup point by calling our support number. Refunds depend on the time and stage of the booking:
Advance cancellation (planned booking): If you cancel 24 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time, we will issue a full refund (after payment gateway charges, if any).
Late cancellation (planned booking): If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, a cancellation fee may apply based on dispatch status, distance covered, and time blocked. The remaining amount (if any) will be refunded.
Emergency booking cancellation: If an ambulance has already been dispatched, cancellation may include dispatch/holding charges depending on how far the ambulance has moved and how long it was reserved.
2. Service Issues
If you feel the service was not provided as confirmed (for example: wrong vehicle sent, major delay without update, or other genuine issues), you can request a refund.
Review process: We will check the booking details, call records, driver logs, and any other available information. We may also contact you for a clear explanation.
Refund decision: If the complaint is found valid, a full or partial refund may be issued depending on the situation.
3. Payment Disputes
If you notice a billing error or an unknown charge, contact us as soon as possible.
We will review the transaction and booking details and resolve it fairly.
If a mistake is confirmed, we will process a refund or correction.
4. Refund Process
Refunds are processed to the same payment method used during booking (UPI, card, bank transfer, etc.).
The amount usually reflects within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
